Desk phones that ring with everything else

Automatic setup for Yealink and Grandstream phones
Add the phone in Onyx Phone, then point it at the private web address you're given. Yealink and Grandstream phones download their own settings and is ready to ring. Step-by-step instructions cover both the phone's web page and its keypad, and Onyx Phone shows when the phone last fetched its settings.
Other SIP phones
Most other SIP desk phones work too, including Poly, Snom, and Fanvil. Onyx Phone lists the SIP settings to type in, with links to each maker's guide. Phones locked to another provider won't work; check that yours is unlocked before you buy it used.
- You need a network cable, and power over Ethernet or the phone's power adapter.
- The Hold button plays your hold music on phones that set themselves up.
- Remove a phone in Onyx Phone and it stops ringing and calling right away.
911 for each phone
Each desk phone has a 911 location: the line's address, or somewhere else, like a second shop. A phone somewhere else gets its own 911 callback number registered at that address, and Onyx Phone shows and rechecks the registration.
Ringing with the rest of the team
Each line has a "ring desk phones" switch. Turn it on and desk phones ring along with the browser and the iPhone and Android apps, so the person at the front counter and the person on the road both get the call.

Which desk phones work with Onyx Phone?
Yealink and Grandstream phones set themselves up automatically. Most SIP phones from Poly, Snom, Fanvil, and others work with a few settings typed in.
Do I have to rent phones?
No. Use a phone you already own, as long as it isn't locked to another provider, or buy one anywhere.
Is there an extra charge for desk phones?
No. Desk phones are included on every plan.
