Integrations / Housecall Pro

New callers into Housecall Pro, automatically

Onyx Phone answers your business number; Housecall Pro schedules and invoices the work. Connect them with Zapier, and new callers can become Housecall Pro customers, with missed calls and voicemails flagged for the office.

What you can automate

Build these in Zapier with the Onyx Phone triggers, New Call, New Missed Call, New Voicemail, and New Text, and Housecall Pro's own Zapier actions. Each Onyx Phone trigger carries a link back to the call.

Answer more of the calls that become jobs

Ring the office and the techs at once with simultaneous ring, text back the callers nobody reached with missed-call text-back, and keep the phones quiet after hours with business hours. The work that comes out of those calls lands in Housecall Pro.

Setting it up

Add the Onyx Phone app to Zapier with the invite link, connect it with an API key from Account, then API and Zapier, and pick Housecall Pro as the action app. The Zapier page covers connecting.

Questions

Does Housecall Pro have its own phone system?

Onyx Phone is for teams that want a separate business phone with its own number, history, and team access, connected to Housecall Pro through Zapier.

Do I need a paid Zapier plan?

That depends on how many steps and tasks your Zaps use. Zapier's own plans decide that.
