Calls logged in Salesforce, leads from missed calls

Log every call to your business number as a completed Salesforce task on the right contact, and turn missed calls from numbers you don't know into leads, so nobody has to type up the phone.

What lands in Salesforce

Matching contacts

The Zap finds the Salesforce contact by phone number. Onyx Phone sends each number in three formats, so it matches however your org stores them. Some orgs only let telephony software set the call type field, so the Zap leaves it alone unless yours allows it.

From missed call to follow-up

Pair the lead Zap with missed-call text-back: the caller hears from you in minutes, and the lead is already in Salesforce for the sales team. Call analytics on Business shows how many calls go unanswered in the first place.

Getting started

  1. Create a login and pick a plan. Checkout saves a card for the 7-day free trial, and nothing is charged until it ends.
  2. Confirm your business and its 911 address, and get a local number on the spot. Bringing your own number? You answer on a temporary one while it moves over, for free.
  3. Choose where calls ring, write what callers hear, invite your team, and register for texting. Then answer in the browser, the iPhone and Android apps, or a desk phone. How it works has the details.

Included on every plan

Starter is $17, Business is $29, Scale is $42 per user a month, or less billed yearly. The plan includes a business number for each user and unlimited calling and texting in the US and Canada. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and moving your current number over is free.

Questions

Is there a Salesforce app to install?

No. The connection runs through Zapier, with the Onyx Phone app's triggers and Salesforce's own Zapier actions.

Does it log outgoing calls too?

Yes. The New Call trigger fires for calls in both directions.
