Jobber runs the job; Onyx Phone answers the phone. Connected through Zapier, every missed call, voicemail, or text to your business number can land in Jobber as a request on the right client, before anyone writes it on a sticky note.
What lands in Jobber
Each request links back to the call in Onyx Phone, so the office can play the voicemail or call back from the business number in one click.
- A missed call becomes a Jobber request, on the existing client if the number matches, or a new client if not.
- A voicemail becomes a request with the transcript as its details.
- A text to your line becomes a request with the message in it.
Matching the right client
Onyx Phone sends every number in three formats, so Zapier can search Jobber the way your clients' numbers were typed in, usually (612) 555-0199 for US shops. If nothing matches, the Zap creates the client with the caller's name when the carrier provides it.
Why it matters for service businesses
The calls a field service business misses are usually new work: a homeowner with a leak, a property manager with a list. Pair the Jobber Zap with missed-call text-back and the caller hears from you in minutes, while the request is already waiting in Jobber.
Setting it up

Does Onyx Phone integrate with Jobber directly?
Through Zapier, which connects both apps. There's no separate Jobber plug-in to install.
Can Jobber clients see calls from Onyx Phone?
The requests and notes the Zap creates are in Jobber like any other. The call recording and voicemail stay in Onyx Phone, linked from the note.
