Questions and answers
Do my sounds apply on all my devices?
Yes. Your ring and text tone follow your login to the website and the iPhone and Android apps.
Why don't I hear the ring in my browser?
Check your computer's volume and the speaker chosen in Audio settings (the microphone button at the top of the screen), and click anywhere on the Onyx Phone page once after opening it, since browsers block sound until you do.
Can I silence text alerts but keep calls ringing?
Yes. Choose No sound for the text and voicemail tone. To silence everything at certain times, use Alert hours.
What audio files can admins upload?
Common audio files such as MP3 and WAV work. Keep rings short and clear; they loop while a call rings.
